PhD+ Program Overview - Chemistry Department

Dell Building #2, Room 100

Are you a graduate student who is just beginning your academic journey, or a PhD student who is seeking to gain professional skills as you consider career pathways that align with your core values and interests? Join members of the PhD Plus team on Monday, Sept. 18, from 1:00 - 2:00 PM to learn more about the opportunities and support we offer UVA graduate students as they progress through their graduate careers.

This session will highlight programs like our interactive Foundation Series, which is designed to help MS and PhD new students navigate the transition into graduate school by unpacking the “Hidden Curriculum,” learning how to set goals, clearly communicate, navigate mentor-mentee relationships, and more. Additionally, we will highlight the Ph.D. Plus workshop series designed to support fellowship applicants, strengthen your communication skills, and help students identify their career interests, as well as professional development strategies to achieve those goals.
