Following the first session on self-assessment and interest outcomes, you should have a fair understanding of some career sectors of interest. In this session, develop strategies to learn about those careers, explore your interest and fitness to shortlist up to 3 careers, and list desired skills in the top 3 careers of choice. Strategies include mining Job Description and Informational Interview. Also, map a plan for iteratively exploring careers through engaging in PhD Plus events. Finally, build a "career community" - a community of peers who are interested in similar careers to explore and learn together.
