PhD+ AHSS Future Faculty Level 2: Job Talk

Zoom

This session is part of Level 2.1 research skills training of AHSS Future Faculty.

Job talk is a significant part of a traditional campus visit and provides an opportunity for the job candidate to demonstrate your ability to contribute as a potential colleague and to communicate as a scholar. Depending on the types of institutions that you are applying to, the expectations of a job talk will also vary in length, format, and evaluation standards. In this session, participants will learn about approaches and best practices of crafting a well-rounded job talk, especially for those in humanities fields.
