The Future Faculty core module is best suited for advanced PhD students and postdocs in all disciplines interested in faculty careers in the U.S. This series consists of virtual workshops, panel discussions, asynchronous materials (videos, readings, and handouts), and sessions where participants can get feedback on job application materials and practice interviews and job talks in a supportive environment.
For optimal results, attendees are encouraged to follow the timeline and spend time outside the scheduled sessions to apply information and strategies learned and submit drafts for suggestions along the way. Pre-recorded events and other resources will be accessed through UVA Collab, and locations or zoom links for live hybrid events will be shared with anyone who registers.
**The Fall 2023 Future Faculty module is organized into three levels. Level 1 topics set up the context for Level 2 and Level 3. Attending Level 1 is essential before attending Level 2 and Level 3.
Registration is now closed for the 2023 series, if you are a UVA PhD student or postdoc and would like to have access to the recordings and resources for this year's series, please email Sam Lake ([email protected]).
