Marieke is passionate about helping people understand complex concepts and gain quantitative skills. In her role as Research Data Specialist she teaches data analysis skills through open enrollment workshops in the library and through courses in the Biomedical Sciences program (BIMS8382 and BIMS8380). Marieke is delighted to be able to hone her own data science skills while impacting the direction of libraries towards helping people access all the information contained in data!
Marieke serves as an instructor for PhD Plus Data Literacy in R skill series offered every Spring semester.
