SESSION DESCRIPTION

Mentorship is one of the most critical aspects of graduate training. In this session, we will discuss the science of mentorship and how to cultivate a team of mentors and build lasting relationships to support your areas of needs and growth through your graduate journey.

INSTRUCTOR

Sam Lake, Ph.D. -  Sam (he/him/his) is the Assistant Director of Research Communication at the University of Virginia, working on university-wide initiatives to support graduate students and postdocs in pursuing versatile career pathways.
