Vanessa is a fourth-year PhD student in the Chemistry Department. She has participated in Career Design and Communicating Research modules of the PhD Plus program.

Melissa is a PhD Plus intern at the Office of Undergraduate Research (OUR), University of Virginia during the academic year 2019-2020, under the mentorship of Brian Cullaty, Director of the Office.

Wenfan Ke is a 4th-year PhD student in the Biology Department. His dissertation research focuses on identifying genetic factors contributing to diet-induced obesity using roundworms as an animal model.

A native of Poland, Anna is a 4th-year PhD student in the Biology Department.

Naomi Miyake is a 4th-year PhD student in the Department of Chemical Engineering.

Roger was a PhD Plus intern in the Economic and Policy studies unit of the University’s Weldon Cooper Center for Public Service under mentorship of Prof. William Shobe

Heidi was a PhD Plus intern at the Virginia Quarterly Review (VQR) from summer 2020 to May 2021, under the mentorship of Allison Wright and Paul Reyes.

Sidney Christman Woram is a 6th year PhD candidate in the Classics Department and was a Communications Intern at the Weldon Cooper Center for Public Service.
