PhD+ Entrepreneurship: Information session and Introductions

PhD Plus Entrepreneurship seminars are scheduled to meet weekly, and are a mix of case discussions, guest panels, and action-oriented workshops covering topics such as: founders agreements, incorporation, market analysis, product development, funding and deal terms, business models, investor presentations, etc. The program is open to PhD Candidates and Postdoctoral scholars from across UVA. The seminars also provide a background for and connections to additional, experiential opportunities across Grounds — iCorps, the Summer Incubator program, the Licensing & Ventures Group, the UVA Seed Fund, etc.

Attend the information session to learn more about the seminars from instructor David Touve. Also, use this opportunity to meet peers interested in careers that leverage entrepreneurial tools and mindset, for example startup team, as a chief scientific officer, in venture capital, and more.
