Nau Hall 242

Interested in learning more about the process through which University researchers launch new companies, and these inventions or discoveries become part of our daily lives? Whether you believe it or not, most of the products with which you interact every day have roots in academic research and discovery.

Join us for an introduction to the PhD Plus workshop series on Commercialization. The purpose of this brief workshop series is to provide you with an introduction to the legal, institutional, professional, and financial dimensions of commercialization.

For this evening's session, we will highlight the topics covered in the series, while also discussing the dynamics that come into play as the various stakeholders launch new companies based on University research.

No prior knowledge of business or commercialization is required before joining these sessions. Instead, please bring your curiosity, questions and ideas.
