AAAS CASE Science Policy Workshop Application

Applicants must compile the following materials, in the order presented below, into a single PDF and upload through the online application form:

Application Deadline: March 1, 2019

  • A one-page statement of interest, written by the student, that highlights and affirms:
    • Interest in the topic of science policy 
    • The potential educational impact of the CASE program on future career goals
    • Any prior experience in science policy programs such as those offerd through the Science Policy Initiative and PhD+ including the Sciene Policy Bootcamp (participation in these programs is not a prerequisite for selection)
    • Availability to attend the entire duration of the program from March 24 through March 27
  • A one-page personal vitae or résumé
  • An acknowledgement of support form signed by either the faculty mentor or the department's Director of Graduate Studies
