PhD+ Foundations: Multicultural Fluency

Harrison Institute Auditorium

This interactive workshop focuses on learning about our own experiences of noticing difference, with a focus on race/ethnicity, by defining the intent vs. impact of things we say, defining microaggressions and articulating identifying components of life that is most salient for each of us. This is done via presentation of information, which is then processed in small and large group discussions.

Instructors: Tabitha Enoch, Associate Dean of Students and Daniel Fairley, Youth Opportunity Coordinator for City of Charlottesville
