This interactive series is designed for UVA Graduate Students and Postdocs and UVA Dual Career Program participants who are exploring postdoctoral opportunities and faculty careers in the next two years. You will learn where faculty positions post, how to prepare effective application materials, and interview and negotiation strategies, and will hear perspectives of several faculty who have served on hiring committees and successfully negotiated the faculty search process themselves.
In this session, learn about the different stages in the interview process (screening and on campus interviews), and how to be well-prepared for each. Also, learn strategies to effectively negotiate offers to advance goals and meet your needs.
