This is the ninth session of PhD Plus Business in Society: adding value with your PhD skills series

Central to the success of any organization is the ability to leverage capabilities to deliver value for stakeholders. In this session, we'll examine the tangible and intangible assets that form an organization's strength. We will show you how to complete a capabilities analysis and how to use this analysis to guide decision making.  We will further explore firms' competitive positioning relative to rivals and analyze the advantages and disadvantages of four generic competitive positions organizations occupy.
