Academic Job Search Series Sponsored by the Office of Graduate and Postdoctoral Affairs/PhD+ and the UVA Dual Career Program.
This interactive series is designed for UVA Dual Career Program participants and UVA Graduate Students and Postdocs who are exploring postdoctoral opportunities and faculty careers in the next two years.
You will learn where faculty positions post, how to prepare effective application materials, and interview and negotiation strategies. In the final session, you will have a chance to hear the perspectives of several faculty who have served on hiring committees and successfully negotiated the faculty search process themselves.
