PhD+ Research Communication Level 1, Session 1: Audience Awareness

Have you ever heard anyone say, "know your audience"? That's great advice, but how do you do it? In this session, we will explore a variety of ways of getting to know your audience, even if you don’t know who your audience may be at this point. 

 

RCS Level 1 is a 4-week training workshop that covers audience analysis, message design, writing in plain language, and storytelling. The workshop will meet in person on Wednesdays, Jan. 25 – Feb. 15 from 3 – 5 pm. 

  1. Audience Awareness (January 25)
  2. Purpose and Medium (February 1)
  3. Writing in Plain Language (February 8)
  4. Storytelling (February 15)

To receive the PhD+ credential for this series, you must attend 3 out of 4 sessions.
