Panelist Bios:

Amy Scott is the Associate Vice President, Government Relations and Public Policy for the Council of Graduate Schools (CGS). As the Associate Vice President for Government Relations and Public Policy, she provides support and leadership to CGS on public policy issues. Specifically, Ms. Scott assists in the development and implementation of CGS’ federal policy agenda, represents CGS in the higher education community and Washington, D.C.-based scientific coalitions.

Nick Cox is the Government Relations and Public Policy Manager for the Council of Graduate Schools (CGS). In his role at CGS, Nick advocates the importance of graduate education to Congress and federal agencies. Prior to joining CGS, Nick worked for various federal and state policy and advocacy organizations, most recently a federal budget watchdog in Washington, DC.
